Weight loss video – the start of my journey.
Healthy weight loss is my goal. I hope that my journey to better health will inspire, motivate and help others.
We really cannot cheat life – excessive weight can lead to adverse health outcomes.
I weigh 214lbs and am around 5ft 10.5 inches tall. This makes me Obese (Class 1) according to the Strip That Fat Diet System calculator on this page (scroll down the page). The page also shows that my ideal weight is 169lbs, that my STF nutrition score is 30 and that I can lose up to 45lbs with Strip That Fat!
One of the things that has shocked me, besides being classified as obese, is that I hardly drink any alcohol and yet have this weight problem; so there is no easy short cut to kick me off (Alcohol contains many calories, so cutting back on consumption makes losing weight easier).
In case you are wondering, my waist is 111cm, or 44.5 inches. This is also very bad.

In case you are wondering how I am hosting my video on my blog; I am using SmugMug. After extensive research into how best to host my videos and picture galleries I decided on SmugMug and as it happens, SmugMug is really cool for putting videos on blogs too. Check it out for yourself and see how good it is. (If I am building a website I use a different method, though SmugMug would be fine).

I have been following your blog for a couple of weeks now after having Google give me an alert every time “Webley” is added to the internet. I have enjoyed your input and wish you good luck on you weight loss. However the reason for having a “Webley” google alert was to see if I could discover any lost cousins in the world. Do you know your pedigree? My line is that of Isaac Webley(b.1757 of Winterbourne, Glo. England) and Sarah May (b.1761 also of Winterbourne) and their son, William who married Ann Adams, and their son William who married Annie Eliza Palmer, and their son Henry William (my grandfather who emigrated to Rhodesia) and who married Beatrice Abbey Williams on 21 Sep.1912 in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and their son William Adrian Webley who was my father. Just wondered if you have ever traced your line and if perhaps you come from the same Webley line in Winterbourne.
